Description and Requirements

  • The number of people using Censhare in Dyson is circa 1400 and continues to grow steadily. Demand for efficiency and more advanced capability is also growing in these areas.
  • As a key member of the DAM Support team you will be responsible for the 1st line support of the Censhare solution, along with any escalations to other areas.
  • You will be a permanent member of the IT Department, reporting to the Business Application Service Manager.
  • The Censhare user base is global and occasional travel may be required.

Market Overview:

Dyson HQ is home to over 3,500 people who work across a medley of engineering and commercial functions. Function Overview:

For a Dyson engineer, breaking the rules is part of the job. It’s what makes our products different. But the next great Dyson idea can’t change the world from a lab. To ensure our machines can be sold, there are some rules we need to stick to. From reviewing initial concepts to testing final components in our accredited test laboratories, our Compliance and Approvals team is a critical voice during the design phase. By making sure Dyson product are never kept off the shelf by global standards and legislation, we play vital role in supporting the growth of Dyson. 


  • You will take ownership and be responsible for resolving requests and incidents (escalating when necessary) that have been logged via the local Service Desk and those re-directed from other Service Desks. You will provide high level Technical support to multiple end user groups.
  • You will monitor the local system, including multi-site tasks and other interfaces.
  • You will work closely with a number of different internal teams, including the wider IT teams and the training team where you will contribute to the continued development of operational support processes, future updates and changes. This will include training, maintenance communications, change investigations and presentations to the user community. This will also include defining the requirements for future updates for upgrades to the system to support the future business.
  • You will have broad technical experience related to studying and analysing system needs, system development and system process analysis.
  • You will contribute to the development, documentation and systemisation of Censhare standards and best practices to support the business. Keeping abreast of technological developments and applications and use that information proactively.
  • You will also be required to support any other Commercial/Creative software, when identified.


  • Experience of database content management systems.

  • Knowledge or experience of Censhare or other Data asset management tools.
