In 2016 Dyson opened its first UK flagship store in London. It is an experiential and interactive space with a calendar of frequent events driving traffic and keeping the store fresh and exciting. We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager who will act as the critical support to the Store Manager, whilst ensuring we deliver a best-in-class customer experience and a highly engaged retail team in-store.

Market Overview

Function Overview

Our Retail Sales teams epitomise the entrepreneurial spirit that has defined Dyson since day one: ambitious, commercially savvy, and strategically agile. We drive innovative ways to put our technology into more hands. It requires managing multiple networks of Dyson people and takes ownership and courage. Being constantly driven to see clearer solutions and drive better sales.

Accountabilities

As Assistant Store Manager you will act as the critical support to the Store Manager, and you will be integral in upholding and protecting the Dyson brand and its principles. You will ensure that a truly inspirational and experiential platform is in place for our customers, through a best in class, engaged and motivated retail team. As the Assistant Store Manager you will act as the store lead in the Store Managers absence, making key decisions on daily operations, customer care and all people aspects. 

Skills

You must be able to lead, inspire and challenge the team to deliver business growth by providing market leading care to our customers, every day, through great coaching and development. As Assistant Store Manager you will work in partnership with the Store Manager to provide seven day leadership for the store with full accountability for all aspects of the store during the store management. You will be able to lead a strong operating platform that ensures great product availability for customers, whilst also monitoring waste and reductions to protect loss. As the retail platform grows, you will be ready and willing to support and share ideas with head office and other sites.
