This is an exciting time for Dyson’s Personal Care category. The Supersonic Hair Dryer, Dyson’s recent foray into Personal Care has revolutionized hair drying technology globally…and there’s more personal care technology to come! For that reason, we are looking for a Brand Manager with a true passion for technology to join the Brand team and help to scale Dyson's Personal Care category.

Function Overview

The Marketing team consists of Brand, Retail Activation, Digital Marketing, Public Relations and Creative.


Dyson’s Brand Team is the category business driver from top to bottom line. The Brand Manager – Personal Care reports into the Senior Marketing Manager and will be responsible for the development of annual marketing plans aligned with business objectives. 

As well as NPD launch strategies, the Brand Manager is responsible for: 
  • Range planning 
  • Category management
  • Competitive analysis of industry and market trends 
  • Go-to-market strategies and 
  • Execution from product management to the full marketing integrated approach 
This is a challenging and rewarding role which focuses on working closely with the Australian Marketing team and Dyson UK Head Office in the delivery of NPD to market, and interacting with peers around the Dyson world. Your ability to develop strong cross functional relationships across the business will greatly assist you in this role.


You’re more than just a typical Brand Manager. Like everyone at Dyson, you think laterally, challenge conventions and push boundaries. You’re the type of person who doesn’t stand still. You’re constantly looking for new ways to do something, and you aren’t afraid to move out of your comfort zone to do it. 

We are looking for an experienced Brand Manager who can demonstrate: 
  • A proven track record with brand and product marketing success 
  • Experience working for a visible brand in an international environment
  • Ideally experience in personal care or beauty categories 
  • Experience managing budgets and 
  • Marketing or related tertiary qualification
