You’ll have a strong background in B2C e-commerce and be experienced in working with market leading content management and commerce platforms.

Market Overview

Tucked away in a quiet corner of Wiltshire, but only 15 minutes from the M4 and well-connected by rail, our Malmesbury HQ is home to more than 3,500 people in a growing campus that houses our IT, Finance, Group Commercial, RDD and GB & Ireland Market teams. With 3 cafes, a gym and sports facility and a selection of iconic engineering legends including our Harrier and Lightning jets, it’s an inspirational place to work and the Digital team is based in the most recently built, agile workspace.

Function Overview

We’ve implemented a completely new commerce system (Hybris) and content platform (AEM) to transform the way we explain our technology, with completely new engaging, interactive visual assets and a purchase journey that outperforms global leaders like Apple and B&O. It’s a cornerstone of our global commitment to more direct sales and a closer relationship with our customers. At the same time, our existing platform continues to serve our global customer base with commerce functionality, rich support content and customer engagement tools, and forms a core part of our IoT platform, powering our latest generation of connected products.


  • Working with Programme Managers, Business Stakeholders and Product Owners, developing trusting relationships Planning, Delivery and Control
  • Crafting test scenarios, supporting definition of test scripts and user acceptance testing
  • Organising and scheduling requirements elicitation and supporting business readiness
  • Write the stories and work as part of a scrum team to deliver the stories within area of responsibilities
  • Partner with the wider Programme team to ensure that dependencies are identified early and deliverables produced and available in-line with the Programme schedule
  • Working closely with partners to establish pragmatic approaches that blend the Dyson way with appropriate planning control and organisation
  • Supporting continuous learning and improvement activities to identify areas that should be refined


  • Focused and effective influencer of Business and Technical Stakeholders
  • Able to organise and lead successful and engaging requirements workshops, helping stakeholders to understand the best solution available / possible for them
  • Effectively translating conceptual needs into user stories and co-ordinating project planning and management across wider business units and functions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of e-commerce business drivers and effective means of requirement definition and approach to driving value
  • Able to own and contribute within multiple work-streams concurrently, whilst maintaining quality and managing clear expectations with your key stakeholders at various levels
  • You are creative, calm under pressure, thrive on change and have a real passion for amazing UX/UI with deep understanding of key digital marketing and e-commerce technologies, with preference for AEM and SAP Hybris
  • Having worked in agile / scrum teams demonstrated by a professional qualification or references
  • Confidence and charisma essential to challenging stakeholders
  • Identifying and closely managing change, streamlining business processes and working both independently and collaboratively to enable the development and deployment process.
  • You have already successfully delivered multiple customer-facing online solutions, whether in terms of a website redesign or nurturing customers through online multichannel retail / B2C environments coveting multiple geographies
