Dyson are embarking on a digital transformation programme, implementing tier 1 strategic platforms across e-commerce/core digital platform, content management, API layer and integration into existing platforms and connected products.  As such, new roles are being created for the programme delivery, leading into on-going roles in the Group IT Digital organisation.

The programme will truly transform, implementing a global digital platform including Hybris and Adobe AEM as core components, integrating into SAP CRM and ECC, delivered by the best Dyson talent together with world class systems integrator and creative agency – as well as organisation design and business change across IT and business functions.

The building is the heartbeat of Dyson. Over 1,500 people, including James himself, spend their days strategizing, inventing technology and telling the Dyson story to the world. From 2016, our HQ will begin doubling its footprint with an ambitious new expansion.

Function Overview

Our Digital IT team is one of the company’s fastest growing functions. Spanning across Dyson’s presence online, transactional capabilities, customer care, marketing support and the front and back office technology that makes Dyson work, it is the nerve centre of Dyson. The team spans many specialities from Technical to Business Analysis and Testing. Crucially, as we look to drive future growth by increasing direct sales, becomes our most vital global sales channel. Like Dyson products, we embrace the latest technologies, excelling in quality and usability.


Joining our high performing team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you’ll play a key role in delivering a brand new web content and commerce platform over the next year. That includes taking the lead on maintaining a user-centric approach to deliver a seamless customer experience, identifying and closely managing change, and working both independently and collaboratively to enable the development process. Along the way, you’ll have the confidence and charisma essential to challenging business units about their plans, effectively translating conceptual user needs into functional requirements and co-ordinating project planning and management by being the link between teams.


With experience gained as a Digital/eCommerce Business Analyst in an FMCG environment, you’ve already successfully delivered customer-facing online solutions, whether in terms of a website redesign or nurturing customers through an online multichannel experience. So you’ll understand and be able to design complex business operational processes, and appreciate the importance of systems within business operations.  You’ll bring clear commercial focus and the ability to bring together cross-functional teams to deliver great results. While experience gained on substantial projects, delivering enhancements and eCommerce solutions, or of delivering change through truly integrated, digital solutions, would be an advantage, more important are a results-driven, innovative approach and the ability to thrive on change.
