Cafe Apprentice

£10,000pa, plus training and bonus

Malmesbury, Wiltshire

Description

Solving problems is hungry work. As part of our catering team, you’ll provide the culinary inspiration to keep over 2,000 Dyson people firing on all cylinders. You’ll be overseen by our head chef – himself trained in a Michelin-star kitchen by Marco Pierre White. And you’ll be chopping and dicing from day one.

As an Apprentice at Dyson, you will work towards an industry recognised qualification - the Level 2 Commis Chef Apprenticeship. The training will be provided by HIT Training Ltd and delivered in the form of work-based learning and workshops. You will be required to attend workshops for approximately one day every eight weeks, the location for which is to be confirmed, so please let us know in your application if you have access to a car.

The apprenticeship will take approximately 12 months to complete with the end-point assessment taking place around month 13. There are further development opportunities available to exceptional candidates on completion of their Level 2 qualification.

Please note, you are welcome to apply directly to Dyson, or directly to HIT Training (via the Government's Find an Apprenticeship website). As part of the recruitment process for this vacancy, applications made direct to Dyson will be shared with our trusted training provider, HIT Training. After applying, candidates may receive contact from HIT Training to verify eligibility for the scheme. If you are unsuccessful for this particular vacancy, HIT Training may contact you with alternative options for catering apprentices in your area.
