Description and Requirements

As a Programme Manager (Change Management), the incumbent will play a key role in helping projects meet business, schedule and budget objectives (change initiatives). He/she will focus on the business side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology The incumbent will work to drive faster adoption, greater ultimate utilisation and higher proficiency on the changes impacting employees in the organisation such that business results are achieved.

Korea is one of the most important and fastest markets for Dyson worldwide. Dyson operates with a distributor partner in the market and in order to support the continued growth, is creating its own subsidiary locally.

Function Overview:

Change management team is part of the cluster Business Operations & Strategy team. The aim is to drive 1) Business model transition in Korea 2) System changes and updates 3) Owner Experience strategy and technology set up.

Key objectives of Change Management:
  • Analyse system, operations and process and identify change required
  • Work with local and global teams to propose resolutions and priotity
  • Implement and program manage various change project from all departments
Split of responsibility in the role as below:
  • 30% on analysis of changes required
  • 30% on visualization change proposals
  • 30% on program management
  • 10% on administrative support


  • Take change management lead on core programmes needed to be implemented in Dyson Korea as business migrates from distributorship to subsidiary model
  • Lead cross functional projects in Dyson Korea – covering a wide variety of projects, ranging from process development, to resource management and IT/Business programs.
  • Work collaboratively with the NorthAsia project manager and to understand the core programmes being implemented by group funtions as such IT transformation and will be managing the impacts to the business in Korea market and the relevant functions impacted e.g. Direct (Digital, retail), Customer Services, Warehouse and logistics, 3rd party suppliers.
  • Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Work with the functions team to identify and contribute to continuous improvement projects to drive operational excellence and improve profitability.
  • Develop actionable and targeted change management plans – including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan
  • Creates exceptional quality project setup documents detailing scope, assumptions, success criteria, risks, governance structure.
  • Diligent risk management with close management of effective mitigations, escalating risks and issues in project governance where necessary.
  • All project documentation is maintained and managed as per scope of role.
  • Manage communication of changes into the wider business which improves engagement and change acceptance
  • Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions
  • Use reinforcement mechanisms and celebrate success.
  • Take personal accountability for quality and accuracy of change management and deliverables.
  • Do not accept ‘average’ or ‘Ok’, only excellence is acceptable.


Qualifications & Experience:
  • The Dyson Project Change Manager is a high calibre change manager, recognised for their leadership and change management capabilities.
  • You are capable of leading and taking the organisation on the journey of change, with first class communication and people skills.
  • You’re commercially astute and used to working collaboratively across a number of different business functions e.g. Group IT, Group Commercial, Group Owner Experience and Markets (countries).
  • You can take complex issues and manage them simply, with the ability to articulate these back to senior level stakeholders.
  • You have experience in working across multiple Asian / European markets and are sensitive to the local challenges, cultural differences and can engage and motivate the team to adapt to change.
  • You are used to managing projects or being the change lead on multiple projects / programmes.
  • Travel will be required in this role
