As Commercial Finance Analyst, you are responsible for obtaining relevant data and producing commercial reports. Dyson is a rapidly growing business and this role is an opportunity for career development and progression.

Home to our global Research, Design and Development centre and all of our Commercial functions, Dyson HQ is tucked away in countryside famous for the railway tunnels and bridges of Isambard Brunel, who revolutionised modern engineering. Function Overview

The Commercial Finance Team is an integral part of Dyson’s finance community.  We deliver the reporting and analysis of the financial performance across the group, liaising directly with global markets to provide direct support to the Dyson Executive team.

Accountabilities

  • Delivery of sales out information across our International Markets.  To include:

    • Weekly processing, manipulation and loading of data received for key European markets.

    • Involvement in the establishment of appropriate EDI links for large European retailers.

    • Development of best in class reporting and data visualization.

  • Provision of standard monthly reporting for European Finance Director and European Trading Director.

  • Ad hoc market, channel and customer analysis.

  • Work with the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to support, understand and ultimately assume responsibility for day-to-day maintenance and market roll-outs of our internally generated Commercial Planning System (BPT).

  • Management of EU central Brand Building Investment Budget.

Skills

  • Recently qualified, or part qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)

  • The ability to proactively manage multiple, varied work streams.  The role requires an individual with the flexibility and willingness to understand the system detail as well as high-level, strategic issues.  

  • Strong data manipulation and presentation skills 

  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across markets and departments

  • Experience of SAP / BW and data visualization software (SAP Lumira, Tableau) would be an advantage.
