Dyson are looking Digital orientated Business Analyst that wants to think differently, challenge convention and be unafraid to make mistakes.  

Market Overview

Tucked away in a quiet corner of Wiltshire, but only 15 minutes from the M4 and well connected by rail, our Malmesbury HQ is home to more than 3,500 people in a growing campus that houses our IT, Finance, Group Commercial, RDD and GB & Ireland Market teams. Function Overview

We’ve implemented a completely new commerce system (Hybris) and content platform (AEM) to transform the way we explain our technology, with completely new engaging, interactive visual assets and a purchase journey that outperforms global leaders like Apple and B&O. It’s a cornerstone of our global drive to more direct sales and a closer relationship with our customers.

At the same time, our existing platform continues to serve our global customer base with commerce functionality, rich support content and customer engagement tools, and forms a core part of our IoT platform, powering our latest generation of connected products.  

Accountabilities

Clearly defined and detailed functional and operational requirements to effectively support technical decisions, solution definition and detailed design
Detailed use case and output expectations to enable comprehensive preparation of functional and user acceptance testing
Multi-modal output to support both waterfall and agile type delivery activities
Ensure to-be processes are fully understood with regards to business readiness, change planning and operational training activities required for solution launch. Help manage the requisite process re-engineering, in a timely manner
Core knowledge of both business need and technical solutions, to support resolution of issues and decisions during build and delivery process

Skills

• Proven team management and line management skills 
• A clear commercial focus with a strong customer orientation, and requisite understanding of key business drivers and the operations that support success
• Strong knowledge & understanding of key digital technologies and the data structure that supports commercial operations and key customer interfaces
• Demonstrable knowledge of core back-end supporting ERP systems.
• An ability to work through initial phases of uncertainty and/or ambiguity toward clear definition of need
• Able to lead successful and engaging requirements workshops to drive out detail and definition
• Demonstrable ability to operate as a key conduit between business areas and IT functions or partners. An effective influencer of both business and technical stakeholders
