Our organisation has operations within Australia and NZ. This is a 6 month contract role and gives an opportunity for a bright, motivated and diligent Credit Controller to support the Finance operations by providing credit control and administration support.

Our HQ is in the regenerated Woolstores in Alexandria, reflecting our industrial heritage – a modern space that will help us bring Dyson technology to life for retailers and the media.


Our Credit Control team are an important part of the Australian Finance team and play a key role in ensure strong relationships with our retail partners as well as the smooth operation of the Dyson business. This is not just another Credit Controller position, but an exciting opportunity to join our energetic and friendly Credit Control team and partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive business outcomes. 

This 12 month, Part-Time Credit Controller Contract position is ideal for an experienced retail Credit Controller who is looking for flexibility or has carer responsibilities, projects or other activities they want to pursue outside of work. This role requires you to work 3 full days per week. You must be available to work Thursday and Friday each week (non-negotiable), however, the third day is flexible and you can either work Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. 

Reporting into the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for full Accounts Receivable duties, for Australia: 
  • Medium to Large sized account reconciliations 
  • Raising Credit notes and Posting journals 
  • Review of bad debts 
  • Daily Banking of cheques and cash if required 
  • Payment allocation and processing 
  • Collection of all overdue accounts 
Other responsibilities include: 
  • Managing rebate claims and reconciling the rebate ledger 
  • Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships to resolve issues in a timely manner 
  • Reviewing and approving or escalating sales orders for independent stores based upon account payment and credit risk 
  • Ad hoc tasks that be assigned by Credit Manager


You are a strong team player who will embrace and enhance the positive and energetic culture of our Credit Control team. You are a self-motivated, analytical thinker and problem solver. And you successfully build strong relationships with your internal and external stakeholders to drive business outcomes. 

To be successful you will need to demonstrate experience with the following: 
  • Experience working in SAP 
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, V&H lookup, formulas) 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems and work to strict deadlines
