The Data Quality and Governance Analyst will be responsible for supporting the rollout of the Dyson Data Governance Framework and driving its adoption and implementation across Dyson as well as initiating and reviewing audits of data processes and the adherence to Dyson principles relating to data.

Function Overview

This role will report to Dyson's Data Quality and Governance Manager, and sits within the Global Data and Analytics team. This team is tasked with ensuring that the various parts of Dyson's business are able to leverage rich, accurate, and timely data to generate insights and make better decisions. Based in IT, the team has the resources and the remit to keep up with Dyson's impressive global growth.

Accountabilities

• Educates stakeholders on the Dyson Data Governance Framework and driving its adoption and implementation across Dyson
• Initiates and reviews audits of data processes and the adherence to Dyson principles relating to data
• Identifies, logs and escalates data quality concerns
• Constructs policies to guide the technical implementation of data-related changes or processes in Dyson (e.g. retention, deletion and archiving rules)
• Championing the importance of Data governance and Data quality within the business
• Supporting Adhoc requests

Skills

• Educated to degree level or equivalent with previous experience of working with global data warehouse systems
• Good SQL analysis skills to perform data analysis and profiling activities.
• Experience with one or more leading data quality tools
• Leadership, collaboration and change management
• Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships in IT and the business.
