The next four years are going to be Dyson’s biggest and busiest yet. We have huge growth plans for our ecommerce platform where our teams will be responsible for creating a seamless and consistent Dyson Experience to capture the hearts and minds of our owners. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate creativity and free thinking, who knows how to use an ecommerce platform to educate and excite people about our technology and our machines.
As a business, we’re changing. Technology infuses every aspect of our lives and we’re responding to this by upping our online sales game. Whilst you’ll work closely with our eCommerce Manager, we’ll look to you to really own our web content in a bid to improve customer engagement and help boost our online performance. That’s the bigger picture, now let’s look at the detail. From general content, to promotions and campaigns, you’ll manage their onsite execution and then test and track how they’re doing – via google analytics and adobe cloud. Best-practice SEO, A/B and MVT testing will also fall to you, as will managing API and data feeds for shopping and price comparison sites. Above all, you’ll never lose sight of championing the online UX, always looking at to how we can better it and, in turn, increase conversion.
You eat, sleep and breathe digital. That’s just fine with us, as it’s this passion that will set you aside. Degree qualified in a relevant subject, you’ve already got some experience of editing and managing online content, in a digital or design role (any dealings with online retail brands a plus). This is backed by brilliant organisation and communication skills – both verbal and written. Additionally, you’ll need a working knowledge of HTML &CSS, and if you’ve got any experience of using Adobe AEM and managing meta data and keywords then it’ll stand you in good stead. Really, we’re looking for someone who’s confidently dipped their toe in the digital water, but is excited about showing us how much more they can do.
