Description and Requirements

    The role of Digital Marketing Executive (acquisition) will see you working with the Digital Marketing Manager to support the execution of the Northern Europe paid search strategy across all Dyson categories. 

Market Overview:

Dyson is rapidly expanding; in its new and core categories, and across all of its global markets. The next four years are going to be Dyson’s biggest and busiest yet. By 2020, we'll be hitting £4 billion in revenue. We'll have brought in 5,000 more people. And we'll have launched a further four brand new product categories. With this pace of growth, these ambitious plans, and the complexities of global expansion, it is natural that Dyson is now thinking about the best ways to organise itself and manage its exciting new product ranges to best effect.

Function Overview:

This role sits within the digital area of the Northern Europe Direct Business and will contribute towards the ambitious growth of Dyson’s online presence. Joining this fast paced team, you’ll be getting stuck in and gaining a wide range of skills and experience working with colleagues across the global business.  

Accountabilities:

  • As the Digital Marketing Executive you will work with the Digital Marketing Manager and wider Brand Marketing team to design and implement the social media strategy as part of our omni-channel business
  • You will work cross functionally with Digital, Brand and Marketing functions to execute the Paid Search and Shopping strategy across all Dyson categories 
  • With a focus on continuous improvement, you will review and report on product reviews online, identifying opportunities to improve the shopper experience and increase relevance in traffic driving activities. You will also regularly review and analyse reporting, making recommendations towards keywords and spend allocation 
  • You’ll have an active involvement in the production of online display advertising by working with our in-house design team and media agency
  • As the Digital Marketing Executive you will help build up our affiliate network and develop exclusive partner offers
  • With a focus on commercial performance, you will be responsible for ongoing tracking and monitoring campaign spend to ensure all activity as part of our omni-channel business is not only on time, but within budget. You will also raise POs and track spend as required

Skills:

  • As the Digital Marketing Executive you will have experience working in a digital marketing role focused on traffic generation
  • You will come with a strong knowledge of HTML coding, as well as experience using Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to deliver ‘insights to action’
  • You’ll demonstrate a strong understanding of the consumer funnel, and the relationship between demand generation and demand capture
  • You will also have knowledge and experience of the Google marketing platform; Search Ads 360, Double Click Studio, Google Ads (Adwords), DDM (Double Click campaign manager)
  • You’ll be educated to degree level or equivalent in a marketing or business related subject
