Market Overview

In Canada, the Dyson office opened in 2006 with 10 employees and two vacuum models. Within two months it had secured the number one market share. There are now over 100 people focused on getting Dyson technology in the hands of Canadians. Based in downtown Toronto, our Head Office borders the financial and theatre districts, surrounded by some of Canada's most inspiring urban engineering. Function Overview

Bringing brand new technology to life – and to the world – requires inventive marketing, clarity of message, vast reach and engagement in more innovative ways. Working closely with our engineers, our marketers develop powerful claims through scientific research and leverage traditional channels, cutting-edge digital technology, events, retail experiences and PR to seize every chance to tell the Dyson story.


Reporting into the eCommerce Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of digital marketing campaigns that drive Dyson Canada’s eCommerce objectives.

This will be a one year salaried contract with vacation pay.


  • Executing digital marketing programs to support new product launches and promotions to maximize eCommerce website performance

  • Manage the day to day maintenance of, launching new site content, functionality and optimizing as needed

  • Working collaboratively with cross functional teams to plan and deliver digital assets and execute projects with excellence

  • Work with site merchandising team to meticulously test mobile and desktop websites to maintain best in class user experience and brand presence

  • Maintain the Dyson eBay store, including monitoring inventory levels and executing digital marketing campaigns to drive profitable sales growth

  • Collaborate with the team to monitor eCommerce performance and KPI’s to ensure we continually optimize to achieve and exceed targets. Proactively bring forward key insights and recommendations to enhance the on-site customer journey to drive incremental sales growth


  • Has a university degree, with a communications or marketing concentration preferred
  • Has 1-2 years’ experience within a related digital marketing role
  • Has a solid understanding of digital media and marketing principles (eCommerce preferred)
  • Is able to demonstrate strong project management skills
  • Is able to demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • Is able to work to tight timelines and remain calm under pressure
  • Is an analytical thinker, intelligent, quick-thinking, alert
  • Is focused on executional excellence
