Product Roadmap

  • Taking ownership of key sections of the sites by defining, through research, enhancements to make to improve the overall customer experience.

  • Delivering these enhancement projects by working with markets, stakeholders, and development teams through to completion

 

Drive Enhancements

  1. Managing Product Backlog

  • Understanding stakeholder requirements and how the request fits into business objectives

  • Effectively prioritising requests to ensure the delivery from the development teams is in-line with stakeholder requirements

  • Working closely with development teams to ensure suitable throughout of work

  • Communicating business priorities to development teams, and helping them understand the context of requests

 

  1. Defining approach to platform enhancements

  • Working with Digital Product Owners and various stakeholder to ensure requests meet Product Team and wider business objectives

  • Act as the key stakeholder in validating and testing new development

 

  1. Planning for the wider business requirements

  • Liaising with global Web Content Administrators to understand their requirements as end users of the platform, and instigate enhancements to support and assist

Function Overview

The Digital Product Team passionately put the customer first.

 

We define vision and strategy for the customer proposition on Dyson.com and other Dyson controlled channels.

 

Our goal is to ensure an utterly intuitive, premium user interface on all devices, globally.

 

We shape solutions that are valuable, and feasible.

 

We leverage data, best practice and insight from local market teams to determine future developments.

 

We develop and drive the overarching digital and eCommerce product roadmap.

 

We work with and drive partners to bring the roadmap to life.

 

We support local market teams. They are often isolated and need advice. This is not to be confused with doing the markets job for them!

Accountabilities

Dyson currently operates an online presence in 50 countries worldwide, with Content Administrators merchandising and maintaining websites in-country. You will regularly be working with people across the globe - Japan, US, Hong Kong, Australia, France and Germany are just some examples.

 

The primary focus of the Digital Product executive is to drive forward enhancements and delivering key projects in-line with the product road map.

Skills

The Digital Product Executive will be working within enterprise content management systems and will require some experience around web content creation and entry as well as Google Analytics or other similar reporting tools.


The Digital Product Executive will also need previous working experience of working In Digital.

 

The right candidate will also have strong communication and written skills an ability to effectively prioritise requirements and to manage requests from a number of sources as well as a solid understanding of Digital best practice including SEO principles, page load speeds, customer experience.
