Digital Shopper Marketing Specialist

As part of this growth, we have a newly created opportunity as a Digital Shopper Marketing Manager to join our Marketing function based in Alexandria.

As part of your day to day, you will engage with Dyson’s retailer partners and digital insight agencies to create insight led approaches to improving the overall shopper experience.   You will be at the forefront of developing new and exciting ways to engage shoppers on their consumer journey, creating a seamless shopping experience throughout the path to purchase.  


Key Responsibilities

Manage content across digital retail sites:

    • Collaborating with central teams to ensure content is accurate and up to date
    • Distribute content to retailers and/or build product pages directly
    • Launch demo zones on retailer sites to drive traffic

Drive efficiencies:

    • Digital spend optimization (search, insights, assets etc.)
    • Planning consistency across, and marketplaces
    • Identify opportunities to drive consistency and relevance

Source content for retailer marketing campaigns:

    • Identify requirements
    • Brief campaign to creative agencies
    • Traffic creative through sign offs and ensure campaign executed to specification

Generate Insights:

    • Analysis of digital data providing insights
    • Partner will digital agencies to monitor scorecards across the retailers
    • Utilise Dyson digital approaches and learnings to influence retailers to improve Dyson experience on their platforms

This role will require you to travel locally and interstate from time to time.

About you

You are passionate about digital, always looking for the most cutting-edge methodologies in web marketing and in e-commerce. Naturally, you are highly organised and have and have proficient time management skills with the ability to work in a fast paced ever changing environment.  You have exceptional influencing and networking skills and the ability to work collaboratively with our internal and external business partners.


You will also require:

  • Proven experience in a similar Digital Shopper role, you could currently work in the agency side looking to make the move across 

  • Sound communication and presentation skills

  • Experience of CMS ideal or at the very least,  knowledge of the process involved in delivering online content

  • Experience working directly with a transactional website preferred

  • Thorough understanding of digital marketing tactics
