Function Overview

Spanning across Dyson’s presence online, transactional capabilities, customer care, marketing support and the front and back office technology that makes Dyson work, it is the nerve centre of Dyson. The team spans many specialities from Technical to Business Analysis and Testing. Crucially, as we look to drive future growth by increasing direct sales, dyson.com becomes our most vital global sales channel. Like Dyson products, we embrace the latest technologies, excelling in quality and usability.

Accountabilities

You will be responsible for supporting and leading “best practice” in using the data management and target group segmentation tools, provide documentation for “How to” queries from business users and manage all BAU data import and export processes into systems and provide periodic reports of data imported and exported from the system to marketing, sales and BI teams.

Supporting new business led initiatives for system functionality including Busienss process definition / Testing and training as well as understanding the meaning and use of the “big data” in marketing campaigns as well as analyse the data quality and campaign interaction history

Skills

As a Digital and Marketing Business Analyst we are looking for someone that has commercial experience with database management within a customer focussed data management environment, delivery of customer analytical programmes either in an agency or in-house CRM Function.

We are looking for someone that thrives on a fast paced and dynamic culture and has experienced this with direct marketing data management processes, Marketing segmentation / data warehouse using packaged software and identifying areas of improvement.

• Working with IT teams to turn business requirements into system specifications
• Testing the developed solution
• Handover / knowledge transfer / training to business users
• Motivated by improving business processes
• Process focus and detail orientated
• Strong written skills
• Ability to communicate complex ideas simply
• PC literate, experience of Microsoft Office especially MS Word and PowerPoint
• Experience of presenting on a 1:1 basis and to groups
