Dyson Stylists Team Leader
We are currently recruiting a Stylist Team Leader who will act as the leader for all national stylists and is integral to upholding and protecting the brand and its principles, whilst ensuring customer’s experience truly great demonstrations of personal care products.
Dyson Ireland opened its doors in 2005. A decade of steady market penetration was followed by rapid growth. In 2015, harnessing the launch of exciting new technologies, both sales and personnel doubled.
Now 70 people strong, ambitious plans are in place to build on future technologies and achieve market leadership in multiple categories. In 2016 we moved to a dynamic new space in central Dublin which has helped put us at the heart of the capital and giving us more opportunities to spread the Dyson story.
Dyson machines work differently to others. So those who sell them need to think differently and understand complex engineering. Our Field Sales teams are Stylists who bring the retail world up to speed. Training. Introducing our new technology. And ensuring the Dyson brand stands out. We gain deep insights into competitors and customers alike, driving national sales strategies to bring Dyson technology into more stores and homes. It’s an energetic team in a fast-paced retail environment. And like everyone at Dyson, we constantly challenge how to make future technology even more successful.
Leading the stylist team
Leads a fun, engaging and ambitious culture, ensuring the team are involved, valued and
recognised for their contribution and are regularly invited to share feedback
to improve performance.
Must have proficient blow drying skills and excellent customer service skills to lead and mentor a geographically diverse team.
Is able to work with a high degree of ambiguity, tailoring last minute and complex messages
into simple and inspiring strategies that 100% of team are engaged on, through
Establish and maintain a communication and engagement strategy to ensure Stylists are fully informed of promotions/changes/current focuses.
Ensures their line reports have a performance review every 3 months.
Contribute to the recruitment of new stylists.
Works with Personal Care Account Manager and HR Partner to ensure that all D&G/Performance/Absence concerns are addressed in a timely way.
Ensures that all colleagues are aware of their measures of performance and bonus objectives.
Seek ways to gather feedback and input from Stylists.
Service and sales
Lead, inspire and challenge the team to deliver business growth by providing market leading care to our customers, every day, through great coaching and development.
Lead by example and support team to deliver an environment for our products to come alive.
Support the Personal Care Account Manager to ensure all ideas and suggestions are being heard.
Management of stylist rotas and event rotas.
Continuously building product knowledge and keep updated of any product developments and supporting the stylist team to do so.
Executing plans for live events to ensure theatre and education for Dyson customers.
Experienced in a Personal Care Leadership role
