Function Overview

Supporting 10,000 users globally and an increasing number of endpoints the End User Computing Team maintain everything that the client touches at a  2nd and 3rd line level. Across desktop and mobile using technologies and applications including Apple, Microsoft, Skype for business, Polycom, Airwatch, Casper, SCCM, SNOW and much more. Managing all assets whether hardware, software or license the team are fast paced, technically astute and understand the importance of service.


The main purpose of the end-user computing team lead role is to provide 2nd and 3rd line support and build of the company’s desktop environment through their team. This environment contains Microsoft Windows and Apple solutions including desktop, laptops, virtual desktop and mobile. This further incorporates upholding the hardware standards and security within the standard desktop platform, architecture and the software distribution infrastructure, Mobile Device Management systems and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. 


We are looking for someone that comes from a similar Technical Support lead role with a proven track record for line management, motivation and people development. A track record of successfully managing an end user devices function, ideally in a global organisation. Your experience will be proficiently in knowledge of the IT infrastructure (hardware, databases, operating systems, local area and Wi-Fi networks etc.) and on Microsoft Windows client, System Centre Configuration Manager, Exchange and Skype for Business hybrid environment, Office 365, Enterprise Mobility Suite, iOS device, Mobile Device Management, PowerShell automation.
