In order to increase our product robustness and reliability, there is a need for dedicated team for verification purpose of hardware/Software/system/robotic/battery with electronics team.


Market Overview

Our Singapore story began in 2004 and today we have more than 1000 people working here. At the beginning of 2017 we opened our new, state of the art, Singapore Technology Centre in Science Park I, minutes from Singapore’s technology and start-up community. This new Technology Centre houses some of Dyson’s most advanced facilities including Robotics and Sensors laboratories and Smart Home, Connectivity & Mobile Applications laboratories as well as an Advanced Control Tower with the latest technology to develop its analytics-driven activities.

Not too far away is West Park, our flagship advanced motor manufacturing facility where we develop our autonomous robotic manufacturing capabilities – more than 300 robots assemble our Dyson Digital Motor (DDM) here. It is here that we develop our next generation of motor technology.

Function Overview

Dyson machines are built to last, as well as perform. To do this we invest heavily in performance and reliability testing, building our own machines to test our machines. 24 hours a day, seven days a week we put them through their paces. We analyse data and customer feedback, relentlessly improving product safety, reliability, usability and customer satisfaction. Each generation of Dyson technology must set the benchmark for the next. And with so many new categories on the way, our Global Quality & Reliability team will need to be more inventive than ever.


  • Review  and Understand System Requirement Spec

  • Develop System Verification Plan from system requirement spec

  • Develop System Validation Plan from system requirement spec for new project

  • Review the Verification plan with cross functional engineers to define the limits and pass fail criteria

  • Review the Validation plan with Reliability lead to define the limits and pass fail criteria

  • Create Investigative test plans and review with cross functional team

  • Make sure all the system requirements are verifiable either by quantitative or by qualitative measurements

  • Ownership of verification, test development and execution

  • Work independently.

  • Follow test process and continuously identify the waste effort in order to improve the process efficiency

  • Execute the test plans

  • Create test reports with the good amount of data


  • Bachelor / Master / Electronic Engineering /  Robotic & Automation Engineering, or related fields

  • At least more than 2 years of experience in software / hardware verification, black box testing, system integration testing.

  • Preferably personnel specializing in Engineering, particularly in “Electronics” environment is a plus.

  • Experience in LabView & NI instrument application is a MUST

  • Experience in robotic home appliance will be advantage

  • Possess a good understanding of electronics/power electronics circuitry and electronic hardware design

  • Posses a good understanding of statistical tools. Knowledge in DFSS would be an advantage

  • Able to create verification test plan according the design requirements for both electronic hardware and software.

  • Able to understand the Schematic diagram and PCB layout.

  • Able to understand the C/C++, assembly language, debug emulation, simulation tools of different chipsets

  • Able to perform root cause analysis, risk/failure assessment to ensure products meet its reliabilities

  • Experience in Battery Management System and Secondary Battery Technologies is a plus.

  • Fluent in spoken and written in English.
