Forming part of the UK Sales team, the Dyson Experts are a national team whose objective is to drive sales and build brand advocacy within our retailers in the UK market. This is done through the active demonstration of Dyson products in our key retailer’s stores.

Accountabilities

As a Dyson Expert, you have a desire to provide excellent customer service in a premium retail environment. Not only will you boost sales, but you will also strengthen our in-store presence and store relationships. Exciting customers by demonstrating the powerful features of Dyson technology in a controlled in-store environment, you’ll explore their needs and requirements so you can demonstrate the Dyson product range, trading up as appropriate. You will capture consumers’ attention to participate in high energy, captivating in-store demonstrations and bring to life all aspects of Dyson’s brand, culture, and passion for technology. 

You’ll be in charge of your own Point of Sale and displays, keeping everything neat and attractive, with products ready for demonstration and correctly priced up. Naturally, you’ll build relationships with the store staff. Driven and self-motivated, you will also manage weekly stock levels to ensure we are always set up for success. 

You will communicate clearly, accurately and in a timely manner with customers, colleagues and your Regional Divisional Manager through actively monitoring Dyson’s online reporting system to contribute quality feedback and report/confirm attendance. As well as this, you will capture accurate demonstration data and communicate opportunities to the Regional Divisional Manager as per established guidelines.

Skills

Whether explaining how microscopic dust particles are captured, or encouraging people to experience a Dyson Supersonic hairdryer, you’ll help to bring our technology to life for customers. This means knowing our machines inside out, which we’ll teach you as part of our comprehensive induction programme. With exciting product launches in the pipeline you’ll always be able to brush up on your product knowledge. 

A proactive individual, you will be able to work independently across both our Floorcare and Beauty departments, changing in-store location as needed. More importantly, you’ll be a confident and professional sales person who loves a challenge and understands retail. Being tenacious with excellent communication skills and a real passion for best in-class customer experience will also be essential to your success.
