Dyson Professional, the Business to Business division of Dyson, is forecasting rapid growth over the next five years. This role will work closely with our regional leader who needs dedicated Business to Business financial support, encompassing a wide range of financial responsibilities. You must be a fluent Dutch speaker.

Market Overview

A new finance role is being created in our Benelux and Nordics markets, one of our fastest growing regions, to support our strategic growth plans.

Function Overview

Launched in 2006 with the Airblade, Dyson Professional has since expanded to offer the full range of Dyson technology to all sectors outside of the home and has recently taken ownership of Jake Dyson Lighting. We operate across 54 countries around the world, with the central executive team based in Malmesbury, UK. Europe is managed via subsidiaries located in each country.

Accountabilities

You will be commercially astute, and over time will develop a deep understanding of the Dyson Professional (B2B) business. You will regularly attend commercial meetings, and you will be relied upon to support efforts to drive the business forwards. You will be based in Amsterdam but will also be responsible for financial support of all markets under “Northern Europe”. This may require occasional foreign travel.

You will be responsible for the interpretation and management of financial reporting for Dyson Professional. This requires the ability to build relationships and work closely with local market teams, and the UK-based EMEA Finance Manager. You will take ownership of the creation and presentation of reporting and scorecards.

 

As a Salesforce.com Super User, you will help optimise utilisation of Salesforce.com in Dyson's Northern European Markets. You will use your Salesforce.com skills and analytical ability to deliver high-quality insights.

 

You will take ownership of the regular accounting processes; month-end accruals, cost centre management, year-end etc. You will work closely with our central accounting functions in applicable markets to ensure accurate financial information is reported.

Skills

  • Qualified Accountant. Degree level education or equivalent
  • Management Accounting background preferred
  • Technical ability in reporting systems and Excel
  • Confident in building relationships and engaging with non-financial teams
  • Organised self-starter with strong ability to work independently
