The Finance Manager Nordics role, based in Sweden, is a key role within the Northern Europe market hub. This role is responsible for business partnering the Nordics Region Manager through reporting and analysing market performance, forecasting future performance and ad hoc scenario analysis to support robust decision making.

Function Overview

The Northern Europe Finance function provides the foundation for commercial success, creating and monitoring a framework of systems, processes and reporting that defines how we operate commercially and financially. The team forms a vital backbone of Dyson N.Europe – business partnering our Direct, Retail, Category and Supply Chain teams across our N.Europe subsidiaries.

Delivering rapid performance insights and forecasting enables us to stay ahead of the competition. In an organisation that doesn’t stand still, the team’s work is a growing challenge of ever-evolving categories, channels and markets.


  • Business partner to the Nordics Region Manager and their local team.  Understanding drivers of performance, targets for growth, identifying and communicating risks and opportunities.
  • Accountable for the accuracy and control of Nordics monthly / annual forecasting cycles, monthly performance reporting and cash flow forecasts.
  • Work closely with the HQ based finance team in a dotted line relationship to analyse, report and communicate market performance by channel, category and region.
  • Ownership of overhead control, reporting and forecasting in Nordics
  • Perform ad hoc tasks and analysis to support the local teams in their decision making.
  • Ensuring adherence to Global Financial control policies and regulatory requirements.


  • Qualified Accountant with strong experience in a similar role
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Advanced IT skills – Microsoft & SAP
  • Proactive approach with great problem solving skills.
  • Experience managing external stakeholders/relationships
