Our Global Quality Team is vital to Dyson’s future technology; extracting and analysing data from a diverse range of sources to drive improvements. As a Graduate Data Scientist you’ll be helping to uncover opportunities to enhance our machines and set the benchmark of our future technology.
As a Graduate Data Scientist you’ll be working within a global team responsible for setting the benchmark of the next generation of Dyson technology. Within Data Innovation Projects you’ll be extracting, interrogating and analysing data to uncover opportunities for improvement in our machines.
You’ll be utilising data from a wide range of sources such as CRM systems and product usage data, working on algorithms to interrogate this data and uncover insights that can be actioned.
As well as uncovering these insights, you’ll also develop engaging visualizations and tools that help to communicate those insights.
From time to time you’ll also gather data requests from the business and transform open or ambiguous requirements into specific and valuable questions. From there you’ll identify opportunities hidden in the data.
You’ll have (or be expecting) at least a 2.1 degree in Data Science. You’ll have some experience in Machine Learning projects, data visualisation and Natural Language Processing skills demonstrated through your modules or extra—curricular activities. Some experience in advanced data innovation projects is also beneficial.
