As an HR Graduate in China you’ll work in multiple HR teams with the goal of attracting, retaining and developing people who are passionate about Dyson. Learning from doing, you’ll quickly grow to be HR professional in 2 years.
Dyson has made a major strategic expansion into Asia. China is our main focus market for future growth, delivering a turnover of RMB2billion within 4 years. At the heart of the Asia expansion is the decision to create a strong Dyson team on the ground in Shanghai, where this role will be based. The team is currently 300+ people.

In this role specifically you can expect the following:
Assist and support the HR Director in daily operations, manage HRD’s diary and coordinate with internal/external working partners to set up meetings and arrange itinerary.
Learn Dyson’s culture and daily operation of HR function
Shadow and observe the team on communication, coordination and influence
Support Talent Acquisition (TA) team and work as TA professional with at least 6 months in TA team.
Learn from conducting a cycle of recruitment, manage and maintain the operation in LinkedIn, internal referral, WeChat and other recruitment channels;
Independently handle recruitment cases from junior to middle level in all functions including retail
Support Talent Development (TD) team and work as TD professional for at least 6 months
Support and be deeply involved in the new graduate programmes (e.g. campus events/ talks)
Support TD team in running whole cycle of yearly performance and talent reviews
Gradually accumulate facilitating skills through training organizing and delivery of workshops
Support HR Business Partners and work as an HR BP for at least 6 months
Learn and gradually handle employment process, learn and accumulate business acumen and people acumen to be HR business partner
Work independently in direct stores or branch office of Dyson China
Be owner of HR systems including but not limited to Avature, LinkedIn, WeChat, internal referral, People system etc.
Always seek new ways of working with new technology and skills
Be open to outside world with new methodology of HR in the market
Learn about Compensation & Benefits in daily HR operations from interaction with TA, TD and HR BP team
You’ll be part of a larger team so must be able to work with others but be equally as comfortable working independently; managing your own time and project deliverables.
Stakeholders are diverse – internal and external; senior management, technical specialists or other Graduates potentially. They could be based locally or further afield in one of our other 20+ offices so you must be able to build relationships quickly and develop your personal networks
Working in a Global business you will need to be fluent in both Mandarin and English, both spoken and written, and any additional languages would be a bonus
You will have recently Graduated/be graduating from University with at least a Bachelor’s degree, but possibly a Masters level. We are open to the subject of study, but are particularly interested to hear from people that studied a degree in a numerate, commercial subject, e.g. Finance or Business.

In this role you will specifically need an insight into HR and an understanding as to why you wish for a career in this area.
Excellent Microsoft office and Outlook skills are essential
