£competitive salary + bonus, pension, healthcare, 27 days holiday

Paris, France or Amsterdam, Netherlands

As our Head of Ecommerce Supply Chain for Central Europe, this is your chance to influence the supply chain model for our rapidly growing omni-channel sector and to provide our customers with an even more efficient service – something you’re passionate about. This role can be based out of our office in Paris or Amsterdam.

Market Overview

Dyson is rapidly expanding; in its new and core categories, and across all of its global markets. The next four years are going to be Dyson’s biggest and busiest yet. By 2020, we'll be hitting £4 billion in revenue. We'll have brought in 5,000 more people. And we'll have launched a further four brand new product categories. With this pace of growth, these ambitious plans, and the complexities of global expansion, it is natural that Dyson is now thinking about the best ways to organise itself and manage its exciting new product ranges to best effect.

Function Overview

The Supply Chain team ensure we have full product availability – requiring meticulous strategic planning. Working with Dyson HQ, global markets, manufacturers and logistics providers, the team coordinates launch timetables, sales forecasts and stock-flow around the world. Every day brings new challenges. It makes the team one of the most dynamic in the business. And with more direct sales planned to drive growth, meeting complex customer demands has become another exciting challenge.

Our market is competitive. We know that. That’s why we need to make sure our customers can buy our products where they want to buy it, when they want to buy it. Which, for a fast-growing number of our customers, means being able to shop direct online. You’ll be responsible for driving our end-to-end e-commerce supply chain strategy, as well as implementing and managing it. Working with senior IT and e-commerce directors, you’ll develop industry benchmark capability (speed, convenience, and experience) and make sure we’re harnessing market technology and infrastructure solutions to deliver a world-class supply chain. You’ll also drive performance, own e-commerce delivery projects and take full contractual, cost and performance responsibility for associated providers.

This area is critical to our sustained growth, so you’ll need to come with a background and range of skills that will set you apart. Degree qualified, you already have significant commercial and management experience within a senior e-commerce supply chain role – some of which will include contract and carrier management in a Pan European environment. As you’ll be handling many projects (varying in size and complexity), your planning, resource allocation, prioritisation, evaluation and collaborative skills will also need to be exceptional. As will your communication, presentation, interpersonal, influencing, judgement and analytical skills. You’ll also need to have excellent written and verbal English.

Benefits Overview

Dyson is different. It’s certainly not for everyone. But if you want to work for a company that trusts and empowers its people to make the impossible possible, welcome to Dyson. To show you how much we appreciate what you bring to our business, we keep an eye on the market to ensure salaries and pensions are competitive. You’ll also enjoy a company bonus, generous leave and life insurance. And our culture’s something we’re proud of too. Rapid professional and leadership development, flexible hours and a relaxed dress code are just some of the other reasons our people join, and stay. It’s all geared up to bring out the best in you.
