Function Overview

The Supply Chain team ensure we have full product availability – requiring meticulous strategic planning. Working with Dyson HQ, global markets, manufacturers and logistics providers, the team coordinates launch timetables, sales forecasts and stock-flow around the world. Every day brings new challenges. It makes the team one of the most dynamic in the business. And with more direct sales planned to drive growth, meeting complex customer demands has become another exciting challenge.

Accountabilities

  • You’ll be responsible for driving our end-to-end European e-commerce supply chain strategy, as well as implementing and managing it on an ongoing basis
  • Working with senior IT and e-commerce directors, you’ll develop industry benchmark capability (speed, convenience, and experience) and make sure we’re harnessing market technology and infrastructure solutions to deliver a world-class supply chain
  • You’ll develop industry benchmark capability for E Commerce supply chain (Speed, Convenience, Customisation and Experience)
  • You will manage full cost and performance responsibility for all selected 3PL/final mile providers, as well as managing annual carrier selection and contractual terms
  • You’ll ensure Dyson are at the forefront of best in market technology and infrastructure solutions, developing and bringing to Dyson the requisite partnership providers

Skills

  • Degree qualified, you already have significant commercial and management experience within a senior e-commerce or direct-to-consumer supply chain role – some of which will include contract and carrier management in a Pan European environment
  • You’ll have exceptional interpersonal, influencing and conflict management skills to manage a diverse group of stakeholders
  • You will have sound business judgment, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results
  • As you’ll be handling many projects (varying in size and complexity), your planning, resource allocation, prioritisation, evaluation and collaborative skills will also need to be exceptional
  • Your communication, presentation, interpersonal, influencing, judgement and analytical skills will be excellent. You’ll also need to have strong written and verbal English
