  • Driving the delivery of regional Information Technology (IT) that optimizes quality and cost efficient business and operational outcomes
  • Designing, developing, implementing and coordinating systems, policies and procedures in line with the global IT strategy, working closely with the Group IT functions
  • Performing role of interface between local top management and IT management at Europe regional and corporate HQ level
  • Agreeing costs, timescales and standards to be met and monitoring these through the project utilizing the established global IT project and programme management methodology
  • Planning, delivering and supporting IT infrastructure operations for Dyson
  • Providing leadership for delivery of 24/7 service operations and KPI compliance
  • Supporting the rapid build out of retail stores and help plan efficient deployment of IT structure and support, including network infrastructure, ePOS, and other activities as required
  • Establishing and maintaining strong, strategic partnerships with vendors and service suppliers
  • Coordinating resources with the IT project management office (PMO)
  • Ensuring all project deliverables, budgets and timelines are met
  • Monitoring performance against targets and deliverables for all contracts
  • Communicate all operations issues and impacts to Head of Service Operations and key regional stakeholders
  • Take responsibility for customer escalations and act as a point of escalation 
  • Analysis of performance leading to service changes and improvements to increase user outcomes/level of satisfaction/perceived value of the service
  • Collaboratively working with IT Managers, Service Operations Managers in other regions and the Head of Service Operations to continually refine and improve Operations procedures, policies and standards to conform to best practise (ITIL)
  • Collaboratively working with IT Managers, Service Operations Manager in other regions and the Head of Service Operations to continually refine and improve Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request and Knowledge Management processes and procedures with best practice


With experience in a similarly dynamic, international role and complex organisation, you’ll have a proven working knowledge of leading an IT function in the region working as part of a global matrix managed team.

  • Written and verbal skills - able to communicate at all levels of the business 
  • Presentation skills – able to communicate  confidently in front of a varied audience and to key internal and external stake holders including retailers and Dyson distributors
  • Strong service management skills
  • Budget planning & accountability
  • Willingness to travel extensively to build expertise

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Fluency in German & English
  • Btech / Mtech / or BCA / MCA and relevant certifications in IT
  • Experience managing IT projects using a structured project delivery approach
