We are recruiting an experienced Senior IT Security Analyst with strong enterprise experience. You will deliver activities to support IT security projects, and provide assistance to the IT Security Operations function. You will provide technical support and security expertise to the IT Security Operations Manager and ensure security projects transition smoothly between the Architecture and Operations functions. You will also hold a senior position within a diverse security focussed team, providing skills transfer and mentoring to Analysts.

Function Overview

It’s no secret that our intellectual property is massively critical to our success. But how do we keep it from the prying eyes of the bad guys? Dyson’s Cyber Security department works tirelessly to keep our secrets secret and our crown jewels locked up, using world class technologies to stay one step ahead of the game. We think like hackers and try and anticipate their every move, researching the latest threats and exploring every angle. The Security Architecture team design the technology solutions that keep us at the top of our game, refining our processes, stressing our systems, and making sure we’re well honed. It’s a tireless job, but the bad guys don’t rest.


• Deliver technical security projects, using architectural designs and requirements as inputs, to the operations function
• Write, maintain, and follow security documentation including processes, procedures, and operations manuals
• Keep abreast of security advisories and alerts, information on security trends and practices, and IT implications of regional data laws and regulations
• Manage security projects and provide expert guidance on security matters for other projects
• Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences at various levels
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key IT and business contacts


• Expert knowledge of security tools, techniques and implementation into enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of IT Security Governance frameworks & practices
• Knowledge of the ITIL framework
• Hold a professional security management certification, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or other similar credentials are highly desirable
• Relevant vendor certifications are highly desirable
• Formal training and Certification in ITIL or Project Management is desirable
