Function Overview

Our Service Desk provides IT desktop support for 3,500 Dyson employees at our Malmesbury HQ and across Europe. First to work each day, we ensure systems and conference facilities are up and running. After that, things get interesting. The day can bring anything from building new hardware to troubleshooting in-depth incidents. Work is fast-paced and no day is the same, with opportunities to develop cutting-edge skills and work with many different areas across the business. But we wouldn’t have it any other way. We understand the importance of our service and we are passionate about the level of support we provide. And, no matter how busy, we always find a way to solve Dyson’s most pressing problems.

Accountabilities

Reporting to the Service Desk team leader, you will be the first point of contact for all incoming support requests from business users across the Malmesbury site (Head Office) and some European sites. Providing a friendly and professional service, contributing to service provided by the IT Service Desk. This is a great opportunity to work with new technologies, whilst developing and expanding you skill set/knowledge to build your IT career

Skills

We are looking for an IT Service Desk Analyst that has at least 2 years’ experience ideally in a service desk analyst role or Call centre experience within a large global organization where you experience a high pressured environment daily. You will possess strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 7 and knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007, 2010 and 2016.

It would be ideal if you can show experience with using and troubleshooting Outlook 2007, 2010 and 2016 and supporting iPhones, iPads, Laptops and desktops
