Description and Requirements

Dyson Sales Experts work part-time (minimum 3 days/week) as members of the Field Sales team to engage consumers in an energetic and confident manner and provide them with knowledgeable information about Dyson products in select retail locations (i.e. Costco, Canadian Tire, Best Buy etc.).

Function Overview:

The most important part of a Dyson Expert’s job is to create a positive experience for the consumers by assisting in the sale of Dyson products to achieve company specified sales goals.


Accountabilities:

Specifically, your job would be to:

  • Conduct  sensational demonstration experiences in high-traffic stores and engage customers in an energetic and confident manner
  • Act as in-store sales representative and product specialist for all Dyson products
  • Identify consumer needs and confidently recommend appropriate Dyson products and accessories for purchase
  • Champion in-store consumer interactions
  • Model all aspects of Dyson brand, culture, and passion for technology
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store management and Dyson sales representatives
  • Share Dyson product knowledge through training experiences with retail store associates
  • Maintain Dyson brand standards within store including displays and product updates

Skills:

  • Minimum one (1) year of in-person/face-to-face sales experience
  • Retail sales experience considered an asset
  • Ambitious and motivated sales individual who’s not intimidated by sales targets
  • Charismatic and confident presence in groups of all sizes
  • Ability to communicate persuasively and gain consumer confidence
  • High level of organizational skills to maintain personal and professional records
  • Ability to work a minimum of three days per week, including every Saturday and Sunday
  • Valid driver’s license, consistent access to a vehicle, and ability to travel within a defined territory
  • Must have intermediate computer skills and the ability to use iPad and corresponding applications
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 30 lbs.
