Develop tools to help the Dyson mobile app development process and to assist in the app evaluation and automation
Not too far away is West Park, our flagship advanced motor manufacturing facility where we develop our autonomous robotic manufacturing capabilities – more than 300 robots assemble our Dyson Digital Motor (DDM) here. It is here that we develop our next generation of motor technology.
1. Intelligent voice control of connected product
Description: Intelligent voice control is the latest trend of interacting with machines in industry. We expect voice control to continue to play a central role in the development of the so-called Internet of Things, which seeks to connect everyday devices and appliances with each other and with their users.
Scope: Leverage on existing solution from Apple, Google and Amazon and enable Voice control for Connected home products. This will involve work in cloud, mobile app(iOS/Android) and IoT Products.
2. Context Learning in Cloud
Description: Predictive interaction is the next stage in the Internet of Things. This involves recognition of usage and awareness of context. Context learning by data analysis and usage patterns allows closer user interaction for better user experience.
Scope: Machine data analysis in Cloud. Based on machine usage commands, arrive at analytical model to produce more reliable results. This will involve work in Cloud, Mobile app(iOS/Android).
3. Mood Lighting
Description: Mood lighting is amongst the many upcoming cloud-enabled and geo-tracking based automation systems capable of entertaining, elevating mood, relaxing the body.
Scope: This project will involves creating user profile, get external environment information from service providers based on user location, connect and configure mood lights from Mobile app(iOS/Android) and Cloud.
