Managing the way we communicate with our customers, and with other Dyson people, is essential to protecting and developing our reputation. The Brand Graphic Design Team will focus on ensuring that the equity carried by our Visual Identity and it’s application isn’t at risk, and that instead it is being leveraged to add value to everything we do.
The Brand Graphics team is responsible for helping deliver a vastly improved understanding of Dyson’s meaning, internally and externally focused. As a Junior Designer your scope of work will be broad to give you a great breadth of insight across the business.
Reporting to the Senior Creative (who reports to our Head of Brand Graphics), you’ll find satisfaction in taking responsibility for delivering market leading execution of Dyson’s internal and external communications and visual identity. The Brand Graphics team set the benchmark for graphic design at Dyson, so everything we do has to be perfect.
As a Junior Designer you'll need a good understanding of grids and type, and be able to understand and interpret data in order to best communicate it in a clear and visually engaging way. Storytelling plays a big part in how we communicate at Dyson so you may be required to write your own copy. You should be comfortable voicing your opinions and be able to articulate your ideas – confidently and intelligently present your work, as you will be working directly with senior stakeholders throughout Dyson.
You will have a degree or equivalent in Graphic Design and you must be proficient in – InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. This role is not a 3D or product design role and will be most suitable for individuals with a graphic design background working on flat artwork or illustration.
