Graduate Marketing Executive
As a Marketing Executive in dyson, you will be participating in the launch of world’s leading technology and products, which will dramatically inspire the industry and change consumer behaviours.
You will be part of the team to champion the growth of the product, be exposed to exciting marketing activities and commercial initiatives, facing with dynamic challenges and market environment.
In addition to marketing expertise, through working with sales, PR, engineers, supply chain, finance, and external counterparts, you will accumulate rich cross function knowledge and experience, and learn how to be an excellent commercial leader.
We are open to discuss the role in either the biggest category (floor care) or the fastest growth category (personal care) with you.
Dyson has made a major strategic expansion into Asia. China is our main focus market for future growth, delivering a turnover of RMB2billion within 4 years. At the heart of the Asia expansion is the decision to create a strong Dyson team on the ground in Shanghai, where this role will be based. The team is currently 300+ people.

In this role specifically you can expect the following:
- Support line manager to develop and execute annual plans for either Dyson Personal Care or Floorcare categories
- Coordinate with cross function teams (PR/digital/retail/event/sales/etc.) to deliver category initiatives and projects – E.g. Chinese New Year, ‘hair science’, etc.
- Marketing spending administration
- Commercial analysis, routine business reports and data consolidation
- Work with media agencies to deliver a media plan, assets, and monitoring
- Category assets coordination and follow through all the process to deliver in market
- You’ll be part of a larger team so must be able to work with others but be equally as comfortable working independently; managing your own time and project deliverables.
Stakeholders are diverse – internal and external; senior management, technical specialists or other Graduates potentially. They could be based locally or further afield in one of our other 20+ offices so you must be able to build relationships quickly and develop your personal networks
Working in a Global business you will need to be fluent in both Mandarin and English, both spoken and written, and any additional languages would be a bonus
You will have recently Graduated/be graduating from University with at least a Bachelor’s degree, but possibly a Masters level. We are open to the subject of study, but are particularly interested to hear from people that studied business degrees in and/or can show business acumen through previous internships.

In this role you will specifically need to demonstrate the following:
Numerate, comfortable with numbers as you will be working with data
Driven by the desire to win, display entrepreneurial skills - being unafraid to try new things, able to deal with ambiguity, and willing to take risks as needed
Excellent Microsoft office and Outlook skills are essential
