Our Benelux markets have seen steady growth but our plans going forward are even more ambitious.  We aim to scale our business through disrupting the markets we operate in by launching new products and categories. This role will responsible for supporting marketing for the Dyson Professional business (this includes Hand dryers, Lighting, Air purification and Hair dryers) in the Benelux, and will be part of the Professional team for the Benelux consisting of six persons and reporting to the Marketing Manager Professional.

Market Overview

Function Overview

Working closely with our engineers, our marketeers develop powerful claims through scientific research. And from traditional channels to cutting-edge events, retail experiences, social media and PR, we seize every chance to tell the Dyson story.

Accountabilities

The Marketing Intern is responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager Professional in:

Strategic marketing

• Support with design and implementation of the strategy and marketing plan and for Dyson Professional (e.g. segment analysis & targeting, distribution mapping)


Marketing communication & activation

• Localization and management of marketing materials such as brochures, POS, video’s (translation, checking, follow-up with agencies)

• Organization of events (trade shows, team meetings, customer events, trainings)

• The performance review of marketing activities and the definition of improvements


Online marketing

• Support in defining/improving online strategy  

• Optimizing search for Dyson website (through Google Analytics/Adwords)

• Keeping track of the websites and assets of Dyson and its distribution partners

• Setting up eCRM campaigns to prospects (through SilverPop)


Skills

• A (nearly) completed undergraduate degree, preferably in (International) Business, Marketing or Communications

• Outstanding academic results and proven extracurricular achievements

• Knowledge of and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• An enthusiastic team player with a good sense of proportion

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• A go-getter with a proactive, pragmatic attitude

• Affinity with innovation and technological products

• Preferably working experience with a major brand in an international environment

• Fluency in Dutch and English required, French is a pré
