National Account Controller

As one of two National Account Controllers you will lead the retail partnerships and sales growth across the UK. This includes driving sales volume, revenue, contribution after promotion and market share in consumer products in GB. This is a senior role which requires you to engage and empower a direct reporting structure of Senior National Account Managers and National Account Managers. You will coach these leaders to ensure their teams execute the joint business plans in their key accounts.
As the national account controller your role will be to deliver the GB sales growth within your retailers. You will effectively manage the GB promotional budget to deliver the best return on investment for both Dyson and your retail partners. You will lead a team of high performing Senior National Account and National Account Managers, and will be responsible for their ongoing development and training. As a senior leader within the GB team, you will be responsible for leading all key customer initiatives across your retail partners, as well as lead on all major trading agreements. As a natural entrepreneur, you will take ownership of how Dyson products are merchandised in-store and online, and you will work cross-functionally to deliver your vision. You will also work very closely with our Retail Sales team, to help drive best-in-class execution in our retail partners.
As a proven business leader, you will have experience leading an effective and high performing national account team on a major retail customer. You will also have extensive experience holding high level commercial negotiations with customers. As a leader, you will have a proven track record in building and motivating teams, as well as understanding how to get the best out of your people. You will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to engage at all levels. You will also have a 2:1 degree or above.
