Description and Requirements

Reporting into the Head of Direct Retail, as the National Retail Manager Ireland you will act as the Direct Retail lead for the Irish market. Your role will be to ensure that your team are delivering a truly inspirational, experiential and compliant platform to showcase our latest technology. You also will be accountable for the commercial performance of the Direct Retail Estate.

It requires managing multiple networks of Dyson people and takes ownership and courage. Being constantly driven to see clearer solutions and drive better sales.


  • Your role as National Retail Manager Ireland will be to collaborate with third parties (agencies, stores, suppliers) to ensure our retail space is executed within Dyson guidelines as part of our omni-channel Direct strategy
  • You’ll also be a main support for the Head of Direct Retail to deliver short and medium term strategy, including the opening of new retail sites
  • As a natural leader, you will establish and maintain a communication and engagement strategy to ensure all parties are fully aware of business priorities, and changes in ways of working
  • Your strong project skills will allow you to lead the successful delivery of all new business platforms on time and on budget.  This could be Flagship Stores, Boutique Stores, Pop Up Stores or Mall Demo Zones
  • You will lead, inspire, and challenge our Experts (store Demonstrators) to deliver strong business growth by providing market leading care to our customers, every day through your coaching and development
  • With your commercial focus, you will maintain a tight control on all expenditure, working with the Head of Direct and Finance to define and measure success


  • You will have extensive experience in a multi-site retail leadership role, working with cross functional teams to deliver best-in-class customer experiences
  • With your commercial outlook, you will be able to demonstrate return on investment and understand how to drive business performance
  • You’ll have the ability to communicate across all levels, and have extensive experience managing remote relationships
  • With a strategic mindset, you will be able to identify and action short and longer term objectives that will help drive the Direct Retail business forward
  • You will demonstrate a drive and passion that inspires your teams to perform and progress
  • You’ll also be able to develop your teams to achieve their potential. You’ll be a proven change agent, with the ability to engage and take people on your journey
