Dyson is rapidly expanding; in its new and core categories, and across all of its global markets. The next four years are going to be Dyson’s biggest and busiest yet. By 2020, we'll be hitting £4 billion in revenue. We'll have brought in 5,000 more people. And we'll have launched a further four brand new product categories. With this pace of growth, these ambitious plans, and the complexities of global expansion, it is natural that Dyson is now thinking about the best ways to organise itself and manage its exciting new product ranges to best effect.
The Operations and Planning team are the key liaison between manufacturing teams in Singapore and Malaysia, and local markets across the the world. They work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure that the right products are going to the right place at the right time.
Our customers expect the best. That’s why you’ll make sure the repairs and refurbishments that are carried out across Central Europe meet the strictest legal, quality, and health and safety standards. Building relationships across a range of functions and retailers, you’ll see that all operational environments know what’s expected of them, so product training is another key aspect of your role. And, at every step of the way, you’ll make sure the customer experience is synonymous with the level of excellence they’ve come to expect from us. It means you’ll audit, train and monitor the service our customers receive and correct anything that’s not up to scratch.
You’ll need substantial experience within a service and repair operations environment to be able to oversee an operation of this scale. That’s why your project management needs to be up to scratch too. Ideally, you’ve got some management experience of contract and third part solution providers in a European setting. Whilst auditing, process compliance, carrying out Health and Safety, as well as Electrical Safety Training, are second nature to you. As you’ll want to bring out the best in the people we work with, strong communication, sound judgement, analytical, influencing and presenting skills will be essential. You’ll also need to have excellent written and verbal English.
Dyson monitors the market to ensure competitive salaries and pension contributions. Beyond that, you’ll also enjoy a company bonus, pension, free on-site gym and 27 days annual leave. Financial benefits are only the start of a Dyson career. Rapid professional growth, leadership development and new opportunities abound, driven by regular reviews and dynamic workshops. And with a vibrant culture, flexible working hours, the latest devices and a relaxed dress code reflecting our engineering spirit, it’s an exciting team environment geared to creativity, innovation and ambition.
