Group IT PMO provides Planning, Delivery support and CoE services to the wider Group IT project community. We are looking for a passionate PMO expert to join a high performing team, working within a fast-paced agile environment where the only constant is change.

Market Overview

The building is the heartbeat of Dyson. Over 2,500 people, including James himself, spend their days strategizing, inventing technology and telling the Dyson story to the world. From 2016, our HQ will begin doubling its footprint with an ambitious new expansion.

Function Overview

Spanning across Dyson’s presence online, transactional capabilities, customer care, marketing support and the front and back office technology that makes Dyson work, it is the nerve centre of Dyson. The team spans many specialities from Technical to Business Analysis and Testing. Crucially, as we look to drive future growth by increasing direct sales, becomes our most vital global sales channel. Like Dyson products, we embrace the latest technologies, excelling in quality and usability.


As a PMO Analyst you will be used to change and responsible for supporting the strategic evolution of the Group IT bespoke ways of working, with elements from DSDM, PRINCE2, Scaled Agile and ITIL. Participates in the development of processes and tools based on the approved PMO Roadmap and facilitate the Risk Management (RAID) process within a team of 15+ project managers.

You will prepare weekly and fortnightly portfolio reports, as well as Steering decks as per Group IT PMO guidelines and review and challenge End-of-sprint reports.


We are looking for a PMO Analyst with a good understating of traditional project management and agile ways of working, can advise others in methods, principles, techniques and tools. You will have commercial experience of managing demand and allocation of 50+ resources and be a Powerpoint artisan, can process complex information quickly and produce ideas and messages for the C-level in carefully designed decks.

You will be a PRINCE2 practitioner or PMP or AgilePM(DSDM) practitioner or PMI-ACP and it would be desirable to have PfMP/MSP or MoV or SAFe Agilist/Discipline Agilist (DAD)/LeSS certification.
