Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Specialist will manage all aspects of the biweekly payroll process, while maintaining updates to ADP’s Workforce Now, along with providing technical advice and support.

Function Overview

  • Process bi-weekly payrolls for US offices
  • Work with managers to make any needed corrections to employee timecards
  • Validate employee change requests and adjustment calculations are processed correctly
  • Process wage garnishment, void and manual checks
  • Federal, State and local taxation and reporting
  • Complete employment verification forms
  • Train new starters/managers on HRIS/Payroll/Time and Attendance systems
  • Address employee questions concerning pay and payroll deductions
  • Work with ADP on payroll related issues
  • Special projects as needed


  • 1 - 3 years of experience processing payroll for 1,000+ employees
  • ADP Workforce Now experience is preferred
  • Experience with MS Office – including excellent Excel (vLookup and Pivot Tables) / PowerPoint skills
  • 1 - 2 years HRIS experience is preferred
  • Degree educated or equivalent work experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work within tight deadlines as well as successfully prioritize multiple task at a fast paced environment
