Description

This role epitomise our problem-solving ethos - always seeking solutions, always challenging, and connecting Dyson Benelux with the wider business. It requires strong stakeholder skills and genuine passion for Dyson technology. If you are an ambitious, solution orientated individual looking to work in a fast-paced sales environment then we would like to speak with you.

Market Overview

Dyson has been growing across the Benelux countries since 1999. Today we have a talented team of over 50 people, split between offices in Belgium and The Netherlands. We get to know our regions implicitly. Marketing is targeted. New categories are relevant. And claims are painstakingly tested to out-manoeuvre aggressive competition.

With an office in Antwerp, Belgium’s historic port city, and another nestled amid the canals of Amsterdam, Dyson people enjoy invigorating work environments steeped in engineering history. Our strong teamwork is the key to succeeding in this fast-moving region.

Function Overview

Dyson is a fast paced business. Our personal assistants are faster still. Multitasking, diplomatic, reliable, trustworthy, quick-witted, loyal… there’s no end to their skills. Some might say it’s them that keep Dyson moving, but you wouldn’t know it from their professional and calm exterior. With a surprising breadth of responsibilities, it’s really not just an admin job.

Accountabilities

The successful individual will be responsible for proactively organising and managing the diary for the Country Manager Benelux, liaising with customers PA’s to arrange meeting dates and coordinating the events to ensure it runs seamlessly. You’ll be accountable for organising and planning departmental meetings and events along with leading the required internal communications. You will also offer support to the wider Leadership Team with diary management and travel plans.

This role reports directly into the Country Manager, Benelux who reports into the Managing Director of the Northern Europe business.

Skills

You’ll have a proven background working as a PA/admin support in a large, multifunctional organisation. You’ll have thrived in a fast paced environment managing events, dealing with senior level stakeholders and able to demonstrate excellent diary management, organisation and communication skills. You’ll already know that discretion is key, with an approachable and adaptable attitude.

You will need to be fluent in both Dutch and English for this role.

Benefits Overview

Dyson monitors the market to ensure competitive salaries and pension contributions. Beyond that, you’ll also enjoy a profit-related bonus, generous leave and life insurance. But financial benefits are only the start of a Dyson career. Rapid professional growth, leadership development and new opportunities abound, driven by regular reviews and dynamic workshops. And with a vibrant culture, flexible working hours, the latest devices and a relaxed dress code reflecting our engineering spirit, it’s an exciting team environment geared to creativity, innovation and ambition.
