Principal Functional Test Engineer ( FCT )
•Design reviewing test sequence (software script), test systems and test fixtures used in testing of PCBAs in ICT & FCT systems.
•Subject Matter Expert in PCBA and system test to support test system design and procurement.
•Responsible for ensuring adequate test coverage to meet Dyson capacity planning and ramp plans.
•Participate, support, and drive FMEA and DFX activities.
•Develop and lead continuous improvement activities.
•Review, monitor & approving manufacturing partner developed test solutions.
•Develop Review and approve, Gauge R&R, test coverage reports, measurement system analysis, capability studies.
•Monitor and feedback change requirements in new product build & yield results from prototype through first run production to SOP
•Manage the out-sourcing of test systems, fixtures & sequence development for production
•Work closely with our suppliers, to ensure successful deployment of test solutions
•Overseeing, reviewing and managing test related schedules & quotations for CAPEX estimates
•Owning the relationship & development plans with external test system integrators & suppliers
•BSEE and 5+ years of relevant test engineering experience
•Experience in PCB and system-level functional test development and deployment
•Experience developing and deploying In-Circuit Test fixtures
•Strong working knowledge of RF, analog and digital circuits
•Experience with test methods for wireless technologies (Wifi, Bluetooth, NFC).
•Analog, RF and digital measurement expertise
•Experience in Design for Test analysis and implementation for high volume manufacturing.
•Experience with test development software such as NI and LabVIEW
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Highly motivated with strong work ethic and ability to learn what is needed to be successful in this position
•Working knowledge of electronic test instruments including but not limited to:
Multi-meter, oscilloscope, power supply, waveform generator, spectrum analyzer, frequency counter, etc.
•Enjoy working in a cross-functional team environment
•Ability to work on several different projects simultaneously
•Strong hardware debugging skills.
•Computer skills including knowledge of PC software and hardware.
•Project management skills such as scheduling, budgeting, and risk analysis.
•Ability to analyze data with a good understanding of statistics tools.
