Market Overview

Dyson launched in 1993 with James Dyson and a handful of engineers questioning everyday products, thinking differently and making things better. Dyson people are encouraged to think differently, challenge convention and be unafraid of mistakes. We’re creative, collaborative, practical, enthusiastic and resourceful. But most of all we’re passionate about what we do.

There are now nearly 4,000 of us globally and we create, capture and handle huge amounts of information and data relating to our ideas and innovation, our products and designs, our consumers and their on-going support, all of which needs to be managed to ensure its compliance with legal requirements and business rules.

Function Overview

Dyson learnt an early lesson in the value of legal might, winning a gruelling battle against Hoover when it infringed our early cyclone technology patents.
