Producer - Content

£30,000 - £40,000 + bonus + pension + 27 days holiday + free on-site gym

As a Producer at Dyson you'll be a gatekeeper for our busy Content team. You’ll be working closely with creatives to produce video, imagery, design work and copy for Dyson’s digital content channels. You’ll guide content creation projects through from brief to delivery through detailed scoping, resourcing, planning and sign-off processes.

If you’re a hybrid producer / project manager with digital content experience, we’d like to hear from you.

Market Overview

Home to our global Research, Design and Development centre and all of our Commercial functions, Dyson HQ is tucked away in countryside famous for the railway tunnels and bridges of Isambard Brunel, who revolutionised modern engineering. Our secluded location helps us to protect our ideas and stay independent-minded. Yet nearby are the fashionable cities of Bristol and Bath (where a young James Dyson invented cyclone technology).

The building is the heartbeat of Dyson. Over 1,500 people, including James himself, spend their days strategizing, inventing technology and telling the Dyson story to the world. From this year, our HQ has begun doubling its footprint with an ambitious new expansion.

Function Overview

The goal of the digital content team is to deliver the Dyson technologies and brand in a dynamic and consistent way across all our digital channels globally. From launching new technologies on the world stage to helping markets deliver local tactical campaigns, we create memorable integrated experiences to captivate and inform both new and existing consumers. Through our digital content, we aim to stimulate positive action in the audience. Whether it be researching our technology, purchasing a machine, engaging with the brand in social, or helping troubleshoot an issue, our creative solutions aim to deliver compelling platforms to build and strengthen brand loyalty

As the Producer for the Content team you'll own the complete production process – scheduling work, booking resource, organizing film/imagery shoots, overseeing post-production and making sure delivery is on time. Build relationships with brief owners in Dyson teams and markets around the globe, updating them on work in progress. Be able to coherently argue the case for or against creative work being briefed based on actual requirements, time and resource available. Ensure that work progresses from brief through ideation, shooting and post-production to be delivered on time and on budget.

You'll have a proven track record of planning and project management - ideally within a digital media, creative agency, film, video or television production environment and demonstrable experience of working directly with creative people. You'll need strong organization and communication skills - comfortable planning and managing multiple jobs at any one time, prioritizing tasks and workloads. Ability to interrogate and question a brief with confidence, identifying logistical and practical challenges and pressure points. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to solve problems and keep a level head in a pressured environment where proactivity is essential.

Benefits Overview

Dyson monitors the market to ensure competitive salaries and pension contributions. Beyond that, you’ll also enjoy a company bonus and 27 days annual leave. But financial benefits are only the start of a Dyson career. Rapid professional growth, leadership development and new opportunities abound, driven by regular reviews and dynamic workshops. And with a vibrant culture, flexible working hours, the latest devices and a relaxed dress code reflecting our engineering spirit, it’s an exciting team environment geared to creativity, innovation and ambition.
