As a Programme Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of our automotive business technical solutions, across our global supply chain, logistics and manufacturing estate. We are looking for someone that has a proven background in leading and delivering end to end supply chain IT solutions for £bn organisations.

Function Overview

Spanning across Dyson’s presence online, transactional capabilities, customer care, marketing support and the front and back office technology that makes Dyson work, it is the nerve centre of Dyson. The team spans many specialities from Technical to Business Analysis and Testing. Crucially, as we look to drive future growth by increasing direct sales, dyson.com becomes our most vital global sales channel. Like Dyson products, we embrace the latest technologies, excelling in quality and usability.

Accountabilities

The Group IT Programme Manager is an experienced technology delivery expert with a keen focus on realising business outcomes. They have direct line management of a team of project managers and are accountable for controlled delivery of portfolio of strategic and tactical projects .

Depending on the size of investments coming down the pipe, they may also be backfilled to take on direct management of large transformation programmes. In addition to ongoing execution in a rapidly changing environment, the Programme Manager will be working with the PMO, maintaininig high quality project managment government artefacts as per delivery methodology (both Agile and Waterfall - depending on project). They also ensure all aspects of change (both business and technical) are managed and implemented through the lifecycle each project working with other IT teams and business functions as necessary.

Skills

We are looking for someone that has a proven background in leading and delivering end to end supply chain IT solutions for £bn organisations, who has:

  • A deep working knowledge of end to end supply chain
  • Able to lead and manage large and diverse teams and stakeholder manage at a C suite level
  • An accredited programme management practitioner
  • Experience of delivering complex global programmes
  • Experience in managing offshore/remote teams
  • A strong agent of change.
  • Ability to lead and develop a strong programme team.
  • Organisational design, business change management / communication planning.  
  • Budget management and financial reporting.
  • Experience in leading complex and large value tender / vendor selections
