The Programme Manager plays a pivotal role for the Owner Experience (OE) category ensuring that all of our campaigns are planned, governed, and resourced to meet business needs. From the moment of purchase we want to ensure our customers have a seamless, integrated experience. As an experienced Programme Manager you'll take responsibility for driving our Owner Experience programme forward.

Market Overview

Dyson is rapidly expanding; in its new and core categories, and across all of its global markets. The next four years are going to be Dyson’s biggest and busiest yet. By 2020, there will be 100 new machines, 4 new product portfolios and Dyson’s headcount will have doubled. With this pace of growth, these ambitious plans, and the complexities of global expansion, it is natural that Dyson is now thinking about the best ways to organise itself and manage its exciting new product ranges to best effect.

Function Overview

We believe that every Dyson machine and interaction with Dyson can and should pioneer. We defy convention to develop ingenious new technologies that allow us to engineer unexpected new product formats and owner experiences. With touch points across all of the Dyson business and working across multi-channel, the Programme Manager is accountable for delivering our OE projects on time and to budget.

At Dyson, we want to provide a personal owner experience to our customers at ever single touchpoint. Its hugely important to us to go the extra mile, to be pioneering, unique, best, delightfully straightforward, and refreshingly unexpected. You'll ensure our consumer experiences are consistently differentiated across all touch points. We need to be integrated, user centric and data driven. To achieve this we need to develop new capability, processes and tools so we can create uniquely Dyson owner experiences.

Accountabilities

As a Programme Manager you'll ensure that all of our launches and campaigns are planned, governed, resourced and managed to meet business needs. You'll be aligned within the category and will work closely with the Category Director and commercial team to ensure the Category programme of work is visible, understood and tiered. As the gatekeeper for all projects in the category, you'll represent the Category’s interests within the broader context of all the projects Group Commercial put resource against.

You'll deliver commercially critical projects to a Dyson level of quality in the most efficient manner. The core role is to enable the enterprise to make informed decisions on project choices, using clear and transparent information to enable these choices.

Skills

You'll have excellent project management and communication skills working in a collaborative, cross functional environment. You'll have used these to deliver milestone events on time; influence, negotiate and lead others whilst overseeing and driving through multiple projects. You'll be an experienced planner and have strong creative agency experience. To succeed you'll need a transparent approach, great senior stakeholder skills and speed when managing upwards whilst also having strong prioritising abilities.

Benefits Overview

Dyson monitors the market to ensure competitive salaries and pension contributions. Beyond that, you’ll also enjoy a profit-related bonus, generous leave and life insurance. But financial benefits are only the start of a Dyson career. Rapid professional growth, leadership development and new opportunities abound, driven by regular reviews and dynamic workshops. And with a vibrant culture and a relaxed dress code reflecting our engineering spirit, it’s an exciting team environment geared to creativity, innovation and ambition.
