As an innovative, ground breaking company, we’re never content with just reinventing the wheel. We’re only happy when we’re revolutionising the world. Right now, that means taking our ingenuity into a completely new category with the launch of the Supersonic, a revolutionary hairdryer that’s already making huge waves across the beauty industry.

Market Overview

Three years ago 80% of Dyson’s business was full-sized vacuum cleaners. Today, its digital motor powered cordless vacuums, robots, Airblade hand dryers, bladeless fans, humidifiers, purifiers and heaters are powering its growth in 75 countries around the world. 2015 saw the addition of Jake Dyson Light to the portfolio, and in April 2016 Dyson took its biggest leap yet, revolutionising the world of Beauty with the launch of the Dyson Supersonic™ Hairdryer.

Dyson is rapidly expanding; in its new and core categories, and across all of its global markets. The next four years are going to be Dyson’s biggest and busiest yet. By 2020, we'll be hitting £4 billion in revenue. We'll have brought in 5,000 more people. And we'll have launched a further four brand new product categories. With this pace of growth, these ambitious plans, and the complexities of global expansion, it is natural that Dyson is now thinking about the best ways to organise itself and manage its exciting new product ranges to best effect.

Function Overview

We’ve proven the Supersonic’s superior effectiveness and efficiency and now we’re focused on growing its success. That involves creating a completely new retail team, solely focused on managing growth across the Supersonic range and beyond.

In a completely new role, you’ll have the freedom to bring your hair or beauty management experience to bear on recruiting, engaging, educating and leading your regional team of Stylists, ensuring they’re confident and comfortable in delivering an exceptional shopper experience that converts them into Supersonic devotees.

Reporting to and led by the National Beauty Retail Manager, you’ll be the link between Dyson and our store partners, building great relationships with key retailer stakeholders that are mutually beneficial. Ensuring our technology is understood and demonstrated in the best way is key, so you’ll also influence development of the education, training and development from induction and throughout the year. You’ll also be instrumental in developing inspirational and innovative retailer events, identify styling trends and opportunities, and be proactive in doing whatever it takes to deliver success on brand.

With experience in managing premium hair or beauty products or services, you’re already excited about the potential of the Supersonic. If you also have broad business knowledge and experience of managing people, you’ll enjoy every opportunity to lead your team to success. In a role that requires a flexible approach to working hours to meet customer expectations, you’ll also need to be organised, self-motivated and an effective planner.

Benefits Overview

Dyson monitors the market to ensure competitive salaries and pension contributions. Beyond that, you’ll also enjoy a 20% bonus, fully-expensed company car and fuel card, lunch allowance and 27 days annual leave.

But financial benefits are only the start of a Dyson career. Rapid professional growth, leadership development and new opportunities abound, driven by regular reviews and dynamic workshops. And with a vibrant culture, flexible working hours, the latest devices and a relaxed dress code reflecting our engineering spirit, it’s an exciting team environment geared to creativity, innovation and ambition.
