Today, its digital motor powered cordless vacuums, robots, Airblade hand dryers, bladeless fans, humidifiers, purifiers and heaters are powering its growth in 75 countries around the world. 2015 saw the addition of Jake Dyson Light to the portfolio, and in April 2016 Dyson took its biggest leap yet, revolutionising the world of Beauty with the launch of the Dyson Supersonic™ Hairdryer.
Dyson is rapidly expanding; in its new and core categories, and across all of its global markets. The next four years are going to be Dyson’s biggest and busiest yet. By 2020, we'll be hitting £4 billion in revenue. We'll have brought in 5,000 more people. And we'll have launched a further four brand new product categories. With this pace of growth, these ambitious plans, and the complexities of global expansion, it is natural that Dyson is now thinking about the best ways to organise itself and manage its exciting new product ranges to best effect.
Dyson Northern Europe has ambitious expansion plans for the Nordics in 2017 and beyond. This role will be based in Stockholm but with responsibility for Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. The role will report into the Country Manager, with a dotted line to the Senior Retail Manager for Northern Europe. The role will rely on the ability to develop outstanding relationships both internally across Dyson and externally through the various third parties we partner with. You will deliver a successful retail operations platforms, both Direct and Controlled Retail, and will continually seek opportunities to drive performance forward, seeking to drive efficiencies for the long term success of our physical retail presence – stores, third party retail and mall demos.
The Retail Manager will be based in Stockholm and will act as the physical retail lead for the Nordics market, reporting into the Country Manager and acting as a critical support to the senior retail manager. This role is integral in upholding and protecting the brand and its principles, whilst ensuring that a truly inspirational, experiential and compliant platform is in place for our customers and staff that supports Dyson’s omni-channel ambitions. The Retail Manager will act as a role model for the Dyson in-store demonstrators across all locations (both Direct and Controlled), ensuring we continually strive to deliver retail-defining, engaged and motivated individuals through ongoing coaching and performance leadership, challenging mediocrity where needed. This individual will have the desire and potential to progress and develop into a more senior Leadership role.
