Three years ago 80% of Dyson’s business was full-sized vacuum cleaners. Today, its digital motor powered cordless vacuums, robots, Airblade hand dryers, bladeless fans, humidifiers, purifiers and heaters are powering its growth in 75 countries around the world. 2015 saw the addition of Jake Dyson Light to the portfolio, and in April 2016 Dyson took its biggest leap yet, revolutionising the world of Beauty with the launch of the Dyson Supersonic™ Hairdryer.
Dyson is rapidly expanding; in its new and core categories, and across all of its global markets. The next four years are going to be Dyson’s biggest and busiest yet. By 2020, we'll be hitting £4 billion in revenue. We'll have brought in 5,000 more people. And we'll have launched a further four brand new product categories. With this pace of growth, these ambitious plans, and the complexities of global expansion, it is natural that Dyson is now thinking about the best ways to organise itself and manage its exciting new product ranges to best effect.
The Retail Team are responsible for bringing our engineering, technology and products to life through NPD launches and marketing campaigns to our consumers. Three years ago 80% of Dyson’s business was full-sized vacuum cleaners. Dyson is rapidly expanding; in its new and core categories, and across all of its global markets. Our aim is to create inspired and highly differentiated consumer experiences that amplify the pioneering technology we make. In order to deliver on this vision and Dyson’s growth ambitions, the Sales Training Manager needs to transform the way we work and this includes leading the education of Dyson's own retail teams, as well as that of our third party retailers.

This role will be based in Malmesbury however will require national travel.
This training strategy and execution role will involve continual internal training and education on all new and existing products, to support the development, knowledge and engagement of Dyson products within the Retail Sales team. You will plan, design and deliver external training sessions to third party retailers, driving Dyson brand advocacy and enhancing their ability to sell Dyson products. Measuring the impact and return on investment of the training activity and strategy will be a key element of the role, ensuring that the training is delivering results and that we are identifying opportunities and transforming training activity if required in an innovative and creative way.
- Previous sales training creation and delivery in a product led environment
- The ability to spot trends and present business cases based on data
- Training design and delivery in large, matrix organisations where engagement of multiple stakeholders is required
- Presentation skills – able to present confidently in front of a varied audiences
- Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment
- Previous leadership experience is desirable
