Three years ago 80% of Dyson’s business was full-sized vacuum cleaners. Today, its digital motor powered cordless vacuums, robots, Airblade hand dryers, bladeless fans, humidifiers, purifiers and heaters are powering its growth in 75 countries around the world. 2015 saw the addition of Jake Dyson Light to the portfolio, and in April 2016 Dyson took its biggest leap yet, revolutionising the world of Beauty with the launch of the Dyson Supersonic™ Hairdryer.
Dyson is rapidly expanding; in its new and core categories, and across all of its global markets. The next four years are going to be Dyson’s biggest and busiest yet. By 2020, we'll be hitting £4 billion in revenue. We'll have brought in 5,000 more people. And we'll have launched a further four brand new product categories. With this pace of growth, these ambitious plans, and the complexities of global expansion, it is natural that Dyson is now thinking about the best ways to organise itself and manage its exciting new product ranges to best effect.
The Retail Team are responsible for bringing our engineering, technology and products to life through NPD launches and marketing campaigns to our consumers. We work across a diverse team of specialists to deliver outstanding communications. Our aim is to create inspired and highly differentiated experiences that amplify the pioneering technology we make. In order to deliver on this vision and Dyson’s growth ambitions, we need to transform the way we work.
Whilst we have highly differentiated products, our consumer experiences are not consistently differentiated across all touchpoints and we need to drive the performance of our Dyson Experts. This role will be based in Malmesbury however will require national travel and will lead the delivery and internal functions to ensure that all of our NPD and Campaign launches are executed with excellence and activated within our retailers on time to drive sales.

sales. The purpose of this role is to design, deliver and execute an effective
training plan across all Dyson retailers, the retail sales team, and
demonstrators covering all aspects of product knowledge and ‘why dyson’ sales
You will plan, design and deliver training through ‘retailer academies’, increasing their product knowledge, awareness of the brand and help them deliver the ‘why Dyson’ message. You will also be responsible for coordinating NPD launches, and ensuring samples and materials are provided for the retail team. You will deliver comprehensive training sessions on new and existing products to ensure knowledge, engagement and enthusiasm is transferred to our retailers store staff.
- Experience in working and understanding electrical retailers
- Previous product training delivery
- Previous soft sales skills training delivery (listening / questioning and closing).
- Training design and delivery in large, matrix organisations where engagement of multiple stakeholders is required.
- Presentation skills – able to present confidently in front of a varied audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
