This role is for a leader of Dyson’s UK Scrum Master competency, responsible for defining world-class technology, processes and teams to deliver the next generation of connected apps and system.

Connected products is a new space for Dyson where we aim to continue our reputation of being innovative and disruptive. We’re building a world-class team of Android and iOS developers and adopting the latest technology and techniques to ensure we can deliver our ambitious vision of the connected space. In order to gain pace and agility, we promote the empowerment of managers allowing them to make decisions and develop our teams and ways of working.
In this role you'll be a key member of the solution delivery management team as well as functionally leading the Scrum Master team. You'll be responsible for process definition and cross-project alignment of approach.
You'll conduct detailed reviews with the Scrum Master team to ensure we are driving value and you'll be responsible for organisational design, recruitment and performance management.
When necessary you won't mind getting hands-on, especially when resource is constrained.
- Expert Scrum Master
- Proven track record of building work-class teams, techniques and processes.
- Experience of effectively applying scrum ceremonies (standups, retrospectives, demos, sprint planning) and coaching teams in agile methodologies.
- Strong delivery skills working with multi-disciplinary teams, ideally with familiarity of leveraging the Atlassian toolset.
Further to these you'll need to be an excellent communicator, able to clearly share your ideas and motivate a team. You'll demonstrate passion for development, be results focused and collaborative. You'll also be culturally sensitive, happy to work with colleagues in different cultures/time zones.
