Description and Requirements

The Senior Business Process Analysts work closely with the Process Owners, Optimisation Leads, Business Process Coordinators, wider project stakeholders and end users. They are responsible for ensuring that our product development processes are meeting requirements and are delivering value across the wider business.

Market Overview:

In 2000, Dyson moved production from Malmesbury to Malaysia to be closer to our supply chains and open up international growth. The small team of 10 has now grown to almost 1,200 – forming Dyson’s second biggest global hub. Located in the exhilarating industrial heart of Johor, it’s also home to RDD, IT, operations,  finance, creative and HR.

The RDD facility is central to our plans to launch 100 new machines in the next four years. To meet these ambitions, we recently expanded the site to 30,000m², with 50 advanced technology labs and 700 new engineers. In the Dyson world, there’s no more exciting place to be.

To achieve this in fast paced consumer markets, we need to focus on both the efficiency and quality of our product development processes. The Product Development Optimisation team work with representatives from global teams across the company to relentlessly improve everything we do. And with so many new categories on the way, our Optimisation team needs to be more effective than ever. This team plays a vital role in supporting Dyson’s future technology.


1.     Supporting and work with the respective global process owners & optimisation leads in identifying and developing operation business process core deliverables and health reporting control tower alignment for operations business process areas (Manufacturing Operations & Engineering, Tooling, Procurement and Supply Chain)

2.     Develop logic algorithm & calculation for product development (operations) health reporting control tower, global project management and deployment activities

3.     Work with global operations team to develop Knowledge Central (Operations) contents, publication, communication and training activities

4.     Work closely with the global operations process owners, optimisation leads, business process Coordinators, wider project stakeholders and end users to ensure that our product development processes are meeting requirements and are delivering value across the wider business. Working collaboratively and inclusively across teams, breaking down boundaries.

5.     Work together with global operation team to look into product development business process improvement opportunities where others see problems


  • Good engineering background with product development & manufacturing operations working experience and proven track record of implementing business process changes within operations working practices and systems.

  • Product development business process understanding and desire to improve process performance and ability to adapt process improvement methodology when reviewing end to end processes for all business functions.

  • Excellent business process analysis, problem solving skills and good understanding and experience of process mapping, lean sigma, value stream mapping methodology or other process improvement methodology

  • Strong project management, planning and time management skills, team player, comfortable dealing with all business levels. Ability to communicate confidently and clearly at all levels (both in written and verbal format) and able to communicate complex ideas simply. Quick learner with the ability to deliver under pressure
  • Degree in IT or any engineering field would be preferred.Capable to handle business IT applications especially Siemens Teamcenter PLM system, SharePoint, excel macro programming and business process logic algorithm & calculation, data analysis and control tower dashboard reporting. At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
